Great break

So it has been a great break for me. I have spent some much needed family time with my hubby and boys. We enjoyed a quiet New Year's and wonderful Christmas together. The boys are rested and so are we. It is sad that we have to go back to work in only another day. The boys have off until Tuesday. The tree and decorations are down and the new Valentine tree is up (just a small one). All the toys are put into their new home and other Christmas goodies. My younger son is already moving on to his birthday which is in January. He will be 5. I guess I need to do some actual work today and get grades into the computer and fix this calculator pocket chart thing for the kids at school.
Going to take the boys out later on their new bikes to ride in the park. Yesterday they were running through big water puddles and getting the back of their clothes all wet...They had fun but it is a lot colder today than yesterday. Soooo we shall see what today brings :)

Holiday Shopping and Such

So the gifts are all bought and the decor is up and of course what happens?  The outdoor lights work one time only and die!  So trek to Walmart and have to buy rope lights as that is all that is left.  I come home in the freezing cold and string the new lights only to fond that the rope lights do not have plugs on both ends like regular lights, they have a special plug for....you guessed it...more rope lights!  So had to leave up the nonworking lights and wrap the rope ones over them because I needed the dang plug. 
Hubby was making Christmas cookies and he dropped the glass baking dish on the floor and it shattered so after much cursing, he started over....BUT it's the most Wonderful time of the Year! LOL 

I have one newbie coming soon.  It will be the last of the Christmas dolls I am offering this year.  I have added some Valentine's Day and St. Patick's Day items to Etsy last night.  I know I know.......Above sneak peak of one item on Etsy now....

My Etsy shop is Harvest Moon Prims....Nothing is prettier

or more magical in Fall...than a big ole Orange Harvest 

Moon....So when I was thinking on a name for etsy...that came to mind...
2. How long have you been on Etsy?
 I have been on Etsy for over a year,but illness made

me unable to do much with it until recently.
3. What type of items do you offer?
Hand crafted stitchery,prims,and needfuls
4. How long have you been crafting?
For as long as I can remember..but professionally for over 25 years
5. Who or What inspires you?
My Dad who was a wonderful floral designer was my biggest 

fan,and always was proud of what I created. 

Sadly he passed away four years ago,but I know 

he is smiling down on my saying..I am so proud of you!
6. What is your favorite item in your shop and why?
hummmm...thats a hard one..Usually my sticheries are my fav

Holiday Happenings

So didn't really do any black Friday shopping. got this great digital camera for $89 12.4MP from Walmart.  I just happened upon it actually as I was buying ink for my computer and said what the heck I can always use a back up. 
Later on the whole family went downtown to A Dicken's Christmas Carol.  We walked around the shoppes, I got this cute handmade necklace, will have to take a pic.  We drank hot chocolate, sangs holiday songs, had our fortunes told by a 100 year old doll puppet and then walked with lit candles down Main Street tot he courthouse for the lighting of the tree and street.  Was really cool and actually was "cool" outside too.  They were going to have fireworks also but my kids couldn't stay up late enough to see them.  They didn't light them off until 8:30 pm.  So we came home warmed up and went to bed.... LOL

So how did you spend the holidays and what goodies did you get at the sales?  I for once can say I am done shopping , done decorating and ready for the holidays.....

Open House For Mailing List Customers Time Link

Open House Jitters and Excitement

Just a heads up that I am taking pics and getting everything ready and BOY I got more done than I thought! This is going to be an awesome open house! Willmaswimzees, it is the name of my pattern line. 

Although I made a mistake and used two L’s

in Wilma, but it’s after my grandma.

Since February 2008

Mostly prim dolls and e patterns. 

I have started making sweaters for small dogs.
4. How long have you been crafting?
About 12 years.
5. Who or What inspires you?
If I can’t find a pattern for what I am looking for,

for a reasonable price, I design one myself.
6. What is your favorite item in your shop and why?
Oh that’s tough.  I love the snowballs, 

they don’t melt.  But I like the Santa with his list too.
