Ok When it Rains...

So yesterday my hubby was working on trying to get my old computer to hook up to the interent. Time Warner was here for 3 hours and finally they gave up saying something was wrong with the hardware and I needed to get it fixed. Soooo my hubby shuts it off to move it. Well when he goes to restart it, it won't turn on! It is deadsville. Well thank goodness I got 90% of my info off it and now I will salvage the hard drive but man. Then my son was upset because this is the 2nd time I gave him a computer and it died. I thought my computer was only about 3 years old but it was more like 6 so it was time. So last night I went on ebay and found a great refurbished one with an awesome warranty, no monitor but we have one anyway for 150 bucks. It doesn't have a bunch of memory but he doesn't need it as he just does research on it and plays games so now we have it coming in. It is a Dell and it was from some fortune 500 company so they are not your regular Dells used in the home, they are tougher so hopefully it will last. I get a year out of it, good. If it runs good, then I am getting another for my younger son.

I am listing tons of items on EBAY tomorrow so be sure to check that out. It won't be until evening.

Oh and I found 2 Doll sites of interest. One I was featured in and it is about all things doll, the other is new

Yep I did get lucky as the night before I got a cable and transferred all the info the only thing I lost was all my kids grades for school ACK! Have to re-enter those. The rest all came over then it died.
It was cheaper to buy a new used one then to get mine repaired.

Great deal on the computer! I really need to back my stuff up and may do that today. I mainly have photos and a few documents pertaining to my business, but really dont want to lose my pictures. I have a digital camera that I had one of those cards in so I could get a ton of pics on it. I had my son's high school graduation, wedding and all the fun things they did, cake testing, fitting for tuxes on my 3 sons, etc., prom pics and the last pics of my dad before he passed away and I lost them all because somehow they got deleted off the card. I have a new card, as I refused to get rid of take new photos on the old one in the hopes that somehow I can get those pics back. This should have taught me to back up and save and I am going to do that now, thanks for the reminder!!!!
