Another Loss

HAve you ever had to put down a beloved pet?  It is one of the most hardest things to do in the world.  This past Monday I had to put down my cat of 12 years.  He was very sick and they couldn't find out what was wrong with him.  He went from 17 lbs to 7!  Here when they took x rays his poor little body was full of cancer.  I had no choice but to end his suffering.  It was very hard because I was close to him.  He was very vocal and very feisty!  He only came to me.  I think what made it even harder was the fact that last year around this same time, I had to put down another one of my favorite cats also as he had diabetes and we couldn't get it under control even with meds and his legs gave out.  It is sad to see them go and hopefully one day we will meet again.  RIP Nai and Merlin
