Been Sick
So since before Christmas, I have been sick with a double ear infection,upper respiratory, etc. I have gone to the dr and have gotten 3 different meds and i am still not better! I have taken amoxicillin, z pack and now keflex I am at wits end. I cannot take sulfa drugs, cipro, or macrodantin as I am allergic. Anyone know what to do? I am sick of being tired and in pain.

Hmmmmmm, Could it be possible you have sick building syndrome? I once had it, thought I had a bad cold and upper respitory infection. After months of going to the doctor and treatments I found it was the building I was working in. I hope you feel better
so sorry you have been sick... I don't have any suggestions but wanted to say I hope you feel better soon.

I just seen a segment on the news for home remidies for ear infections they say really help. They said to use warm olive oil(not hot!, take a small amount of olive oil in a dish and run under warm tap water) place a few drops in ear and place a cotton ball in ear. They say the warm oil helps reduce the swelling in the canal and promotes healing. I get ear aches when I get sinus infections and it can be very painful. I use a warm salt water saline solution and sniff into the nose, yes it sounds auful but it does work. It helps clear out all the infection and reduces the swelling in the sinus canal.
Can't hurt to try these. I really hope you feel better soon. I know how miserable it can be.
Barbara who knows as mold is in the building but I was off 2 weeks for xmas break and still didn't get better so I think it is more like an infection that I have had for awhile now and they missed. Jean tried it the live oil calmed it down some the saline well it worked for a short time then hurts now again. Sabrina thanks :)
Wow, I can't think of anything else except that you are allergic to something...cat? spores? mold? mice? Anyhoo, saying prayers that you get to the bottom of it soon!
