Etsy is always improving the seller and buyer experience by making new features. Now they are giving the community the opportunity to view the newest experiments and use them on the Etsy Experiments page. These features can come and go and they may not always work correctly. This will give the Etsy community a chance to voice their opinion about these features. These Etsy experiments will also help the Etsy development team fix bugs and know if the feature is liked by the c0mmunity and worth spending more time on.
The first Etsy experiment is the Etsy Explorer . This feature will allow you to find the prefect item on Etsy in a brand new way. WARNING!! This feature can be very fun, addicting, and time eating!
Here are some screen shots of the new Etsy Explorer in action. I searched microscope and found some interesting items! Be sure to click on the pic to see a larger view.
As you scroll through the pictures a larger window will pop up and you can even save the item as a favorite.
Searching is fun with the Etsy Explorer. Notice the side bar where you can add specific search parameters. I love to shop by color!
