Why Leave Feedback?

This post came to mind as I just added some feedback quotes to my website. I just went through and tried to grab a wide spectrum of thoughts from my various customers. It got me to ask myself, “‘Would the feedback I leave be chosen to be featured on a website?” I think some would and some wouldn’t. My feedback for supplies that I purchase via etsy are typically ‘Fast Shipment’ and ‘Great communication.’ When I buy a product I really do try to write a little more about why I love the item as much as I do. I think this will help other buyers out in making their decision and I want the creator to know that their work is appreciated.
I know that many do not leave feedback but it is extremely important to us, as sellers to hear what the buyer thought of our item. As a seller, I try to always go the ‘extra mile’ to make my customer happy. My items are made for someone to love and appreciate. It’s nice to have the extra effort noticed and acknowledged. Whenever I see my feedback number go up I am always excited click and read a person’s review.
I also really want to know if something wasn’t to par. That way I can make things ‘right’ with the buyer, and strive to improve my item for future buyers. If we, as the seller, don’t hear about the problem it’s impossible for us to know to fix it.
In summary, feedback is an important way for a seller to gauge their work and their customer service. Positive feedback puts a smile on our face and always makes the day better. It takes less than a minute to leave some feedback but it leaves a lasting impression.

Hi ya Sue:) I totally agree with you on this one. I always leave feedback for the seller, and when I buy from someone. It's just the courteous thing to do. You don't leave someone hanging by not leaving feedback. Thanks for bringing this to our attention gal:)

I know I hate when people don't leave feedback. I mean I worked hard to list and make the item so I would like a little bit of feedback to see if it was ok or not ya know....
