1st Train We Saw

So my family loves trains big time and we decided at the last minute to go to Spencer NC and see the trains. I got the days mixed up and thought there was going to be a tractor pull for kids there and old tractors but it was Saturday. We still had a great time. It takes 3 hours for us to get there and we got there at 11 thinking it was open. Well it didn't open until 1 on Sunday! So we walked around the town looking at the homes and found a little park with a gazebo where the boys played. We went to the Dollar Store down the street about a hundred times for potty breaks and then back to the station when it opened for the train ride and then we went into the roundhouse and saw the trains, bought some souvenirs and drove the 3 hours back. I am still tired today! Here are pics of the trip. Yes we got sunburned!
